I have installed EZdrummer on my new Windows 7 machine. It worked correctly on my Win 98 machine. The paths are not set correctly. It cannot find the the jazz EZX and funk EZX that are located both in the C: drive (x86) and under my documents folder. Should I erase everything Toontracks and start over? The installer doesn’t seem to know where everything is. Itried custom install and that didn’t work so I reinstalled and let it put everything in the default path even though I don’t like samples on my C: drive.
I also have Superior 2 and it can’t find anything either. They both appear in both Ableton Live and ToonTracdk solor but there are no add on sounds. I can’t figure out how to steer them to the sounds.
Why do you have to make this so hard!!!!!
I am so frustrated and furious that I spend night after night getting nowhere. And you installation instructions are so short on detail, that I don’t know what it is asking me to do!!!
Is there a link to tell us in a detailed way how to install everything in an external drive including the .dll’s in the vst folder?
Is there a list of where we should find things on our computers so we know when we do not have things in the right place and need to reinstall? I understand that we cannot just move things to where we think they should be, but it would be helpful if I knew that things were in the worng locations.
I gave up and reloaded everything to my C: drive and let the installer put everything where it wanted to. I don’t know where everything is, but it works. I’d rather have samples and midi files on my external drive but I could not get that to work. I gave up. Topic closed until the next person asks the same question. In five minutes.
