    Hi,

I presume you are referring to EZdrummer since EZplayer Pro is a MIDI player/Arranger and does not emit any sound.
If you are experiencing latency, i.e. that the sounds are played back much later than you trigger them, it is most likely due to your Hardware Buffer Size being set too high (512+) in your host software (e.g. Cubase, Reaper, Sonar, etc.)
For triggering live you will want it set somewhere around 64-256 .

    Best Regards,
    John

    Thanx John,
yes I mean EZ Drummer. I tried to chance latency by the AKAI MPKmini, but there was no change.
    I will try another one.

    Hi John,

    I’m getting the same problem…
My set is a kit with Alesis DM5 module + Midi interfaze Michael AKM 11 + EZ drummer (using Toontrack solo).

I already tried to change the Latency parameter to 64 (the lowest possible in toontrack solo) and the delay still remains (about 0.5 sec)… what esle I can do? Doe’s exist some driver for the Midi interface I can install in my computer?

    Thanks and regards,

    Luciano Brasil

right, but what is the Audio interface? … while the MIDI interface is definitely relevant, the biggest factor in term of latency is likely going to be the audio stream from the computer. A ‘pro-graded’ sound card with optimized (as opposed to generic) ASIO drivers are a must.
