Hey guys, I’ve installed EZdrummer on my latop and I’m hoping someone can explain to me how to get it to run with reaper. I’ve googled and everyone says to add a track and hit add FX and select EZdrummer. However, for me EZdrummer isn’t in the list of FX.
Thanks for the help.
Most likely you need to go to Reaper Preferences>Plugins>VST and set a plug-in path to your EZdrummer dll file. This will let Reaper know where to scan when you press the Re-scan button.

It also may be listed as ‘DFH Sampler (Toontrack)’.

Hi guys,
I’m having a similar problem. Reaper doesn’t recognize or show either a dfhdrums.dll or ezdrummer.dlll in any of its pref windows. Scans and re-scans result in nothing. Pasting the entire path to the ezdrummer.dll (which is infact what mine is called – purchased today from Sweetwater)also does not assist Reaper in finding the .dll. The path is C:Program FilesVstPluginsToontrack64bitezdrummer.dll.
Is it possible that I have a 32 vs 64 bit issue?
Thanks,
Tim
Please give more info about your system. What version of Windows? What version of EZdrummer? Have you added the path in Reaper to where the EZdrummer.dll is installer?

I am not finding the dll when i search with reaper but can find it when i search my system
Are running 32-bit versions or 64-bit versions of OS and software? Did you install from DVD or from Full Download? Did you run the latest updates? More details, please.
