I just purchased the Steven Slate Platimum 3.5 software. I’m trying to get EZ Player Pro to audition the Glen Sobel midi files.
I’ve set up:
1 Stereo instrument track – Kontact 3.0/SSD 3.5
1 Stereo instrument track – EZ Player Pro
1 Stereo Master (of course.)
I’ve set the EZ Player to MAP Wrap SSD 3.5, I play a midi file and get no sound.
If I drag and drop the midi directly into the EZ Player track, it plays back fine. I just want to be able to audition the tracks before I waste time dragging dropping, listen back… delete… etc… etc.
Any suggestions?
Have you record armed the Kontakt and set the WRAP MASTER to SSD 3.5? I set a session up exactly as you, however I’m using PT 9.06 and Kontakt Player 5 and it seems to be working OK.

Yes. I did exactly that. Armed the instrument track that has Kontact as the insert. Selected SSD 3.5 in the Wrap Master, selected a midi file and hit play within EZ Player Pro. No sound plays but I can see that the little cursor is moving within EZ Player.
I read somewhere that it could be the version of Kontact I’m using. It’s the one that came with SSD 3.5, version 3.0. Great… one more app I have to update.
