Had to reinstall beatstation after my laptop got junked at a gig. On a new macbook pro the latest OSX OS Lion and I can’t seem to get it to open after installation. Just crashes. Any word on when its getting updated?
we’re trying to update all our products to be compatible with OS X Lion as it goes. We don’t have timeframe if or when it will happen, though. Are you positive that the crash might not be due to another reason? Have you installed all your latest updates, for both Beatstation and your host. Have you made sure your host is Lion compatible?
running the latest version of Live Intro, Garageband, and Logic Express. Doesn’t even show up in garageband or Logic Express but I can see it in the plugin browser in Live. However, I mostly use Beatstation in stand-alone mode but as I have mentioned it just crashes without even fully loading in Lion.
All the DAW’s are up to date as is my OS. And I am using the latest version of Beatstation. I’ll try deleting the file and reinstalling it again tonight but the original install process seemed to go without a hitch so I suspect its some problem within beatstation itself that is incompatible with Lion.
I just tried running the 1.02 installer on Lion 10.7.4 and launched the Standalone with no problems. Played around with for about 15 mins with no hiccups. Also tried sampling and putting on pads.
