I got the Alesis DM10 last week.
Long story short, I can’t get EZ Drummer to work with it. I’ve already done all the necessary configurations on the DM module.
But EZ drummer does not acknowledge it at all! How do I get it to work??
(Also, kind of a side note, for some weird reason, every time I open it (Ez drummer), it gives me a message that says “failed to load audio driver”, it wasn’t saying that when I barely installed it. But at the same time, it’s been happening before I got the DM10…so what’s that about??).
I can only guess you are using EZdrummer in Toontrack Solo. Are both programs up-to-date?
What soundcard are you using with Solo? Have you ticked the ‘E-drums’ preset under the Options->Controller?
Please fill in your system specs.

Yes, I am using it in Toontrack Solo. I am not really sure how to update Toontrack. Although, just earlier today, I updated ez drummer.
To be honest, I dont know how to check what sound card I am using with it…im sure it’s a simple task, can you please explain how I can check that?
Yes, that was one of the first thing’s I actually tried, was setting ‘E-drums’ preset as the controller.
(System specs filled in…I’m not sure how much was/is needed, so it is somewhat “basic”).
The latest version of Toontrack solo is available for download when you are logged in to your Toontrack account. Just run the installer.
To set the correct driver for your sound card in Toontrack solo, please got to menu ‘Options -> Audio -> Audio Device’.
Also make sure you do not run any other application at the same time that may claim the sound card driver.
