I’ve deleted one of my Authorizations, but I don’t see any “Add” button or way to authorize EZD for another system. Would you guys please add another Authorization for me or point me to where I need to go to do it for myself or ask somebody or something?
I’ve removed an old authorization so you should be able to add and authorize you new system.

Hi all,
same here, just after I install my new system the drive crashed! What info do you need to remove the previous drive (FUKU)?
Thanks,
Cedric
Red Firebird,
I’ve removed an old authorization for EZdrummer so you should be able to authorize your new system.

Hey Scott,
had to change the MoBo on my system, could ou get me another reset?
Thanks,
Cedric
Hi Scot, me to please… I just deactivated an Authorization and would like you to free one up for me …please. I know I still have 2 sitting there, but I’m about to use up another one and I don’t like the idea of having just “1” left. I am one of Toontracks BEST customers by the way. Wait untill you see ALL the products I have in my account. I own all Toontrack products except for the very new SDX’s, but I will get them very soon 🙂 Thanks in advance.

nexis,
From the FAQ:
IMPORTANT: Please only request new codes if none are available to you for a particular product and as a result authorization is not possible, or if you have used up your last code generation and would like to preemptively free up your unused seats (your ‘My Products’ page will display 4/4, next to the appropriate product, in both scenarios).

Hi Nexis,
I have removed your inactive authorization(s).
We would like to attract our customers attention to the following extracts of the End User License Agreement (EULA):
—
INSTALLATION. You (One [1] user) may install and use the Product on a single computer. Installation is considered complete when registration of the Product has been accepted by the automatic procedure at the Toontrack Music website. You may move the Software to a different Computer provided only one copy is in use at any one time.
—
In practice we allow the software to reside on up to two (2) computers, at the express condition that only one copy shall be in use at any one time. Roaming users need to ensure that their stationary copy is locked or can otherwise not be used by another user during their absence. Failure to take reasonable steps to this effect is a breach of the EULA and may lead to your license being suspended.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate your help and you have shown me that Toontrack is willing to help me.
I see what you are saying. I’m not sure how to show you, but the computer that I deleted the activation from has been “wiped out” with a fresh install of Windows. I don’t record on it anymore, so really, nothing is installed on it. I am just using it to surf the internet. This is the GOD’s HONEST truth and I swear this with my hand on the bible. I honestly don’t think this is a big deal. Once I activate my new computer, I would still only have 2 activations up at a time and I would only use 1 at a time anyway like I always have done. I just don’t like that idea of having 1 gone by a computer that I have already deleted from my activations. I only use (1) activation at a time anyway. Always have and always will. I have always respected the hard work from Toontrack …and it shows. I’m just a guy who loves to make music at home (alone, or with my friends). I am not a business.
Why not make it so, when an activation is deleted, that user would NOT be able to activate that particular computer anymore so that it is STILL only 2 activations up and running at any given time (of course 1 used at a time)
Kind-of -like if you delete one, you would then gain one automatically…
…just a thought and my 2 cents…
Thanks again

Hi,
I just added a Blackmagic board to the system and the ID has changed again, is that normal?
Can you release the authorization again?
Thanks,
Cedric
I’m not sure what your ‘Blackmagic board’ is but if it is a motherboard, then, yes, it is definitely normal for a motherboard to cause a re-authorization. If it’s not a motherboard, any hardware change could cause a hardware shuffle of how the hardware config is broadcast to the OS so that may cause a re-authorization as well.
In either case, I’ve removed your oldest ‘Removed’ authorization for EZdrummer and your Vintage EZX so you should be able to authorized now.

Hi Scott,
it’s just a video IO board, Windows didn’t require to be reauthorized, that’s why I was surprised to see the code request.
Thanks again!
