Runtime errors are usually caused by hitting a RAM limit. Do you have other VST instruments that use RAM loaded into your project? Keep in mind that even with 3GB of RAM in your system, 32-bit XP will only access about 2GB of RAM and Pro Tools only a portion of that 2GB.

    In addition to Scott’s post:
When you write that you want to separate EZdrummer into several channels in the mixer, are you using MultiOut from one instance or are you loading several instances of EZdrummer?
If you check the attached Template Session, you see how to set up Multiple Outputs in Pro Tools.

There is also a video in the Support Portal at:

Yes, I’m running a few instances of Eleven but this problem only seems to happen when I use the multi outs for EZdrummer (I only have one instance of EZdrummer running).

Multiple Eleven instances *shouldn’t* be a problem.
Have you performed the usual PT check stuff? Updated all the plugins present in your ‘Plug-Ins’ folder? Isn’t there a newer Pro Tools version available for you? 8.0.1 sound pretty old, IIRC you should be able to download an 8.0.4 or 8.1 version.

There are newer versions of PT but they require Windows SP3. If you don’t think this would cause me any issues I would download it and the newer version of PT.

Also, when I tried EZdrummer 130 update it changed my drum sounds into unwanted ones (snare became a woodblock etc…). Any ideas on that?

    Thanks

With regards to running Pro Tools and EZdrummer, there’s definitely no drawback in updating.
If you have other components in your system that would suffer from it, I cannot answer to but find unlikely.

If you hear other sounds than the EZdrummer sounds, you are most likely accidentally triggering another VI or have the Latin Percussion EZX loaded in EZdrummer – but the LP EZX would rather have the Udu sound instead of the Snare.
