Hi! I have just learned to get the different drums on multiple audiotracks. But I’m wondering if i shall make it as a mono audiotrack or stereo audiotrack?
this depends on your preferred workflow and DAW but the Ambience and Overhead microphones are Stereo, the other ones are Mono.
That said, nothing bad happen if you route the Kick, Snare, HH and Tom microphones to Stereo Tracks.
If you route all microphones to Mono tracks, you will have to pan the split AMB and OH tracks hard left and right.
Or simply make some Mono and some Stereo.
