I know this may sound stupid ,but does merging kit pieces merge to a single clip?
I didn’t even realize that option was there until I was going over the manual again.
I don’t want to screw up what I got so far and wanted to be sure I could get back to my original set of clips.
Sort of on the same subject; Is there a way (in EZP) to merge tracks into one clip other than setting a blank track to record?
I’ve done that before but I am not always successful shutting it off precisely at the end of the clip(s).

that option’s purpose is to produce a single clip from a multiple selection made in the browser and dragged to a track, so yes, a single clip will result.

yes and no, you could make copies of the clips onto different layers of a tracks than rubber band the result and drag to the Browser, but that is hardly necessary.
… if you ‘fuse’ your programmed tracks past the last note, you should be able to use the resize tool to sever it at the last event. If you drag a recorded MIDI to the Browser the empty ‘tail’ should also be removed, so depending on your workflow either method should be fine.

I’m not sure on the procedure for merging kit pieces in the browser but I’ll go over the manual again.
I discovered the empyt tails after dragging fused clips back into the arranger. So it doesn’t(or at least hasn’t) edit the empty tail when D&D into the browser.I either re-record or just edit the “ghost tail” and re-D&D into the browser.
It’s nothing I’m going to commit Seppuku over.
In S2 when bouncing to audio you can have the setting to record-start at MIDI and it stops at the end of the clip.
Would it be possible,at some point,to have some type of record markers, similar to punch recording, that you could set up in a blank track to stop at the end of the clip?
I know you can do this in the DAW but working in TT Solo saves a huge ammount of resources.
