    The cocktail kit has a few great traditional latin beats in its midi,this midi and kit comes bundled for free with EZY Drummer.
    The midi can also be played with the normal drum kits too.

    12 years later and EZ Drummer still don’t have authentic Brazilian grooves and sampled instruments. Not even some Bossa Nova grooves in midi.  Latin grooves and percussion instruments (and that mostly means Cuban)  is not the same as Brazilian. Goran made that for the BeatBuddy, but I can’t think of  any good Brazilian grooves for VST.  Come on,  ToonTrack, you have like 16 packs for heavy metal!

    I ABSOLUTELY agree with Idelima. PLEASE Toontrack, please release a Brazilian/Latin MIDI pack and EZX Sound Expansion for this genre. It’s sad when my BOSS DDR-880 drum machine has more to offer in this area. Sigh.

    Porque a EZ Drummer ainda não produziu grooves e instrumentos sampleados brasileiros? Samba, Bossa Nova dentre outros é um mercado inovador e muito amplo e também uma boa oputunidade de negócios, para um mundo globalizado. Já fieram pesquisa de mercado?

    I owns the LATIN PERCUSSION EZX and the LATIN CUBAN PERCUSSION EZX packages.  Collectively there is only one marginally usable samba groove.  Come on Toontrack.  As someone pointed out, you have 16 packs for metal.  Please expand the library of Brazilian grooves that use these EZX packages!!!

    Hi Guys,

    Absolutely! I bought EZ Drummer 3 for Samba & Bossa Nova Grooves. Found that none are included. So, this week (21Apr2025, I bought Big Band / Jazz & Latin EZX Packs, at £225, and still no Bossa Nova / Samba!!! I’m seriously thinking of sending these back!

    Great Drum Sounds – but Not Happy! Guess I’ll just have to do it myself!

    Fully agree. How ignorant can you (EZD) be not to include Brazilian Rhythms and Percussion. This is a huge genre of global interest. I love the Latin Percussion pack and the high flexibility provided in the grid editor to trim the grooves to your needs. This is also urgently needed for Brazilian styles. And please do not add any further variants of stuff that is already available like e.g. metal etc.

    Do we have to beg you to include a library of high quality Brazilian Percussion and Rhythms — beyond a token few?  If so I am happy to beg.   Please, please, please, please, please add a library of high quality Brazilian Percussion and Rhythms!!!!
