Should EZ Player follow host? Sonar.

  Have Sonar 8.5
  Should EZ Player follow Sonar (start & stop)?
  Odd things are happening:
  EZ Player doesn’t start when I have midi in the arranger and I press play in Sonar, yet when I press play in EZ, it wants to (and sometimes does) play my synth track, with distortion,pops and clicks. The timeline doesn’t move in Sonar. Weird.
  May be due to smallish ram (4gb, and use the machine for other stuff) but not that likely.
  Appreciate any advice.
