Here is what’s happening:
When using EZdrummer on an instrument track or an AUX track it will function for 2-5 min. and then all audio dies. I can see the midi information on instrument track (or on MIDI track — I’ve tried both with no success) triggering the track, the meter jumps with the MIDI, I see EZdrummer being triggered, but no sound.
I think it has something to do with the audio engine communicating with Pro Tools or something. I’m running HD 8.0.4 and EZdrummer 1.2.1 so everything is pretty much up to date. Not sure what the issue is, but it’s really frustrating. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Any one figure out a solution?
If you switch to a different drum set after loosing audio you get audio back (briefly) but it’s not a permanent solution. Wonder if that means it has something to do with the sample engine since it works when you reload new samples back and forth?
