Hi, my Mac Book Pro recently had to go in to have the Nvidia graphics chip replaced. Now when i power up my computer i get a new auth code and my EZ drummer doesn’t work. I also just loaded Nashville, and Superior 2.0 Crossgrade.
any suggestions on how to fix this?
thanks

Log into your Toontrack account and go to your EZdrummer page. Click on the ‘Add Authorization’ button and put in the new Computer ID etc. This will create a new authorization code for your computer.

thank you for your quick response Scott. Now i am installing my new Superior Drummer Crossgrade 2.0 i got at Musician’s Friend. I notice it is now asking me to insert DVD labeled “SL-Avatar DVD2”. I don’t see that DVD in my package. Is that just DVD that is Crossgrade Drummer Install Disc 2? My current installation progress is stalled at 13:43 Copying file SL Avatar/Avatar1Keys.pdf…
regards
Cliff

Scott,
Can you possibly tell me where i can find my “computer ID” for my iMac. I’m having the same problem. thank you
The computer ID will be displayed on the authorization screen the first time you open EZdrummer in your host.
You do own EZdrummer right?

I purchased it yesterday and i ran the installer from the .dmg file. and when it was done installing it said it had succeeded, but it was also saying it wasn’t finished yet. after it was installed i could never find it anywhere in my hard drive. all i can find is the TT144EZX File. And all that was in this file is a midi folder for sounds and the uninstaller and installer tab
And yea another thing i left out is that no, i actually never owned EZ Drummer. yesterday i bought the Metal Heads EZX thinking that that is all i needed. so you have to have a working EZ Drummer version installed prior to installing the metal heads EZX?
Hi,
I think the Automator script popped up to say that you should let the Installer finish. Since the Installer did finish, the product is installed.
You do know that
1) TT144 is an expansion for EZdrummer and
2) that EZdrummer is a plugin?
I.e. you need the EZdrummer plugin to use the Metalheads EZX and to use EZdrummer you need a host to load it in, it isn’t an application. You can use the plugin in e.g. Garageband, Logic, Cubase or Toontrack solo. Please check the product page for compatible hosts.
Also make sure you have the latest EZdrummer version update applied.
Best Regards,
John
