Oh, I do see that when you select a preset it tells you what Mix Pack it is from, but you have to click on each one to see what’s in each pack? Color coded would be cool – ๐Ÿ˜‰

You can set one of the column headings in EZmix to ‘Preset Pack’ and scroll down through the ‘Core’ content until you see all of the ‘Modern Pop/Rock’ presets.

cvmusic, what’s your opinion on the Modern Pop/Rock pack? I just did my first mix with the original pack and was really happy with the results. Is the additional pack worth it?

    hey Chuck –

Actually, I thought Modern Pop/Rock pack was pretty good considering you get 50 presets for $29. I thought it was worth it since there isn’t any simple way to tweak your effects. As long as you’re creative with them you’ll be happy with the results. Plus these plugs don’t really tax your cpu. I use other expensive plugs from Waves, Antares, Celemony, Massey, Sonalkis, Slate, Sonnox, etc., but for quick demos and less stress on your computer it’s a no brainer.

Glad to hear your first mix turned out great. I think you’ll like the new pack. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for the guidance. For those of us unskilled applying effects that sound good in a mix, it’s perfect. Off to buy the new pack now.

Scott, just bought it downloaded and activated on toontrack.com in my account but it’s not asking for the serial number when I reboot and open exmix in logic. It does not show an option to select column “preset pack” so i don’t think it installed correctly? I do see it in the toontrack folder right next to ezmix. Is there a secondary step I need to do to get it to work?

well then that means you are still running EZmix 1.0.0… and since your account’s download history shows you’ve never downloaded the EZmix 1.0.1 update that’s not really a surprise ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, not fixed for me. I am running EZmix 1.0.2 (installed today and restarted computer) Still the rock and pop presets don’t show up. I never get to use my authorization code for anything …. Any help?

    tombuur,

please first uninstall and reinstall the EZmix pack.
Next, if the presets still do not show up (easiest found by right-clicking the column header and add+sort by Preset Pack column), does it show in the Add/Remove Programs list?
Is your setup in your profile still valid?

    Best Regards,
    John
