The title says it all. There is currently no software for e-drummers as Superior… period. I do like how unique and distinctive the competitor’s software sounds though and a big player on this is Platinum Samples Jim Scott and Andy Johns packs. I do enjoy the competitor’s interface though… but velocity issues (ride/snares) and no 64 bit prevents me from using it more often (situation might change though with updates.. and a future release of another version 64 bit compatible.. so watch out guys !! LoL ) .
Please bring Platinum Samples to Superior format…… plsss

I bought the Joe Barresi one when it was half price at the beginning of this summer. Still, I think C&V is my number one.

I totally agree. The only comparison would be the world class (and discontinued) Scarbee Drums. Can I say other company names in the forum? I only mention it to say that C&V is unrivaled for my genre!

I have C&V as well .. the only pack I dont own from Toontrack’s Superior is Music City. Yes.. C&V is different from other packs (it s more focused.. less roomy..)… but again the intent of my post was not this X that… but having more options and different colors to choose from. Platinum does sound punchy .. focused and brings lots to the table. Andy Johns has a great DW Mardi Grass kit …. Paiste 2002s… Rudes… and Jim Scott has Steve Ferrone’s and Chad Smith kits… so again different colors….

To the OP, I think the folks who need to know your request would be Platinum Samples.

I don’t think anyone was arguing with your point.

(awkward pause) er… how about those Platinum samples? Good stuff, huh? I would be interested in an Andy John as well as Jim Scott SDX.

+1
I think the Evil Drums pack is the most realistic sounding of all the SDXs (just beating out C&V) – I’d love to see the Andy Johns pack for Superior 2.
Cheers,
Jeremy.
