Is anybody using the combination without any issues? I’m not able to drag and drop the loops into 6.4. I’m pretty sure I’m doing everything correct. I created a stereo audio track and selected EZ drummer as a plug and when I go the drag the file from the far right on the EZ Drummer into my edit page on PT 6.4 I get a long error message which I can’t recall what it says at the moment. At this point Protools is frozen and needs to be closed. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong or what the issue is?

Before I can offer any suggestions, can you please fill in your system specs on your Member Profile page and/or signature? What OS are you running, etc?

As per the product page, minimum requirement is Pro Tools 7.3.

I read that but I thought it was still possible to run with PT LE 6.4. Guess not. Back to the drawing board.
Hello there. I did the exact same thing with the exact same results. We will have to take our lumps.
I have PTLE 6.4. When I tried to drag EZD loops nto the track, it froze and I got error msg…Assertion in codeazores_Handel blah blah
Everything ran great until the drag and drop. I thought it was going to work.
What I’m doing now is using Reaper and loading EZD into it and building drum tracks. Export tracks as wav files. Then, I import the tracks into PT.
Reaper is a small download…not a demo with limited functions…30 day eval…and 40 bucks if you want to keep using it.
There’s additional info in the DAW section of this forum. If you use reaper and EZD loads slow, there is probably a mismatch of 44.1k and 44k.
Good luck.
Hey thanks. That’s the exact error message I received. I’m glad I’m not alone and not the only person who ignored what version of Protools was compatible with EZD.
I was actually thinking about upgrading my Digi001 and with an 002 and getting a newer version of PT. I considered Reaper too and did download it but I was having issues with getting the 001 to work with it even after I had the right drivers. Maybe I’ll try what you did. Thanks for the help. It’s much appreciated.
