Greetings,
I just bought EZDrummer via a promotion from Guitar Center which offered a discounted price for the product by download only. I have downloaded, installed and applied the available updates to the product. My question is with regard to the size of the included library files:
If I get information on the EZDrummer directory on my computer (“myHardDrive/Library/Application Support/EZDrummer”), it reports its file size as 930MBs. I was led to believe by the product information that it came with “7000 sound files at 16-bit / 44.1kHz equivalent to 5Gb of uncompressed wav files.”
Based on this, it would seem my installation is missing over 4Gb of data.
Can you please clarify this for me?
Thanks,
Jim
The sound files are compressed with Toontrack’s TPC algorithm, reduced in size. You can’t open the sound files directly and they’re decompressed by the EZD plugin.
