Hello, I’ve been recommended DFH to create drum tracks, I don’t like using premade drum loops and prefer to completely make my own, but reading reviews and looking at tutorials on youtube I haven’t seen anything enabling you to do so, can anyone explain to me how I’d go about doing this and how simple it is.
I’ve prevously used magix music maker and the drum program on that is very simple and straight forward, just have to click on blocks and it would make the sound of the drum of the block selected so keeping time with it was never an issue, is there something similar on dfh?
Thanks in advance.
Hey Mike, I’m having the same issue with DFH. I just got mine and I am having difficulty building sounds from scratch. I’m used to clicking sound blocks on fruity loops and building my sounds from scratch without any keyboards or midi of any kind. I wonder if theres anyone that can help out with this.
Hi,
the plugin itself does not offer any building/sequencing capabilities. Both EZdrummer and Superior 2 have the groove browser where you can audition MIDI grooves which can be dragged to your host for editing. If you want to build your own grooves, you do this in your host of choice.

I’m sure there’s a ‘proper’ way to do it, but I do exactly what you’re asking is possible by choosing a drum pattern closest to what I’m after, and manually moving the midi blocks to where I want them. Can also do this by inserting a new midi file as per your other program
