Hi there,
Apologies if this has been covered but it didn’t show up in the search.
I have EZDrummer and expansion packs installed on my Mac Pro in the studio.
I’d like to put them on my Macbook too (Which I believe I can do with my second authorisation) ?
Can I install the main program from the DVD then copy the expansion packs from my current library or do I need to install each expansion from its own disc ?
I’m hoping this will save some time using a gigabit ethernet connection rather than a DVD drive….
If its going to be messy then I’ll do it the long handed way.
Cheers

Hi,
there is a way to copy but to be honest; if you download your EZdrummer expansions dmg:s from your Toontrack account, the install time will be pretty short and it will be better to do it “the right way”. In fact, I do recommend installing at least EZdrummer from the Full Download dmg instead of your DVD print. Don’t forget to apply the updates too, for both EZdrummer and your EZX:s.
Best Regards,
John

Hi, I was wanting to do the same thing. I’d purchased EZ Drummer a bit ago and NORMALLY put all my install discs in the same place but cannot find the EZ Drummer disc. From what I’m experiencing, downloading the install file from the site is an upgrade vs full install as I don’t have any sound files to choose from on the i7. The sound files are all sitting on my MacBook Pro but how do I get them over to the iMac i7? I tried to run SoundMover from my MacBook Pro hoping it could find my i7 as they’re networked together but no luck. I know this is my stupidity for losing the disc but is there a way to do this? Thanks.
