You can! It’s actually very easy.

The way it works is you will have MIDI tracks in the main track view area, and the audio output tracks in the mixer. You don’t have to have both if you don’t want either.

You can add extra MIDI tracks in the track pane and route them to the appropriate input(EZD), or even easier, drag a few of the included MIDI files into your EZDrummer MIDI track, right click on them, go to “Part Functions” and then “Explode Pitches to tracks”.

This will automatically create one track for every kit piece used in the MIDI file, and route every track to EZD.

For the audio tracks, make the the instrument rack is showing in the mixer area on the left. Click on EZ Drummer in the rack, and it will bring up checkboxes to enable any or all outputs from EZD. When you check the boxes, they create an audio track for each output, so you can mix each one separately.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help… I figured out the output section your talking about after playing around for awhile with S1Pro program and EZD… The “explode pitches to tracks” for the input is still a work in progress… Thanks for the post.
