Are you installing from the DVD?

I would recommend downloading the full installer from your Toontrack account and installing from there.

Yes, I was installing from the DVD, I’ll try the installer and get back to you

It seems to have installed correctly, thanks for your help. Hopefully the Drumkit from Hell add on pack will work too.

Is that a known problem to occur? Seems strange to have installation problems with the actual disc I purchased

The EZdrummer discs may have been created before the release of Windows 7. More importantly, the installers on the discs were written before W7.

I have a 3 year old EZdrummer install disc and will be following this procedure when purchasing my new W7 machine and will be having to install these libraries.

Ah, that makes alot of sense. That was a pretty obvious solution but thanks for your help!

I’m having a similar problem on windows 7 64 bit. error code “1308 source file file not found, verify file exists and you can access it” and I have the disc. So I’ve downloaded the 64 bit patch, and it says I need to install the 32 bit version first. WTF I really wish I would not have bought this product.

Did you download the full product from your Toontrack account and install from that? It is not the ‘update’ but the full product download. It should be at the top op the EZdrummer product page in your account.

Once you have installed from that download, you can then run the 64-bit beta. Make sure you are running a 64-bit host as the beta isn’t intended to run in a 32-bit host under 64-bit W7.
