I paid for EZ drummer, registered and authorized it. Then i downloaded it… but once the download was finished it didn’t do anything. It didn’t open a program and the EZ drummer is not showing up anywhere on my computer. Any ideas?
The only way to authorize EZdrummer is to open it in your host program (Toontrack Solo, Cubase, Pro Tools, Reaper, etc.) as a virtual instrument. I see from your account that you haven’t authorized EZdrummer yet, it is registered though.
To install EZdrummer, click on TT106_EZdrummer_WIN.exe. This will extract the program installer. Open the folder that everything was extracted to and navigate to the PC installer. Run it and install EZdrummer.
The first time you open EZdrummer in your host program you will be instructed to authorize it. Follow the link below to view a video on authorizing EZD.
I would recommend downloading and installing the latest EZdrummer update as well.
I would also recommend filling in your system specs on your member profile page or in your signature so we can have a better idea of what you are running.
Ah, that explained it. I have not installed my pro-tools yet. I didn’t realize I needed the host program installed before I could check out the ezdrummer (still new to this). Thanks.
