I used the VariAudio function in Cubase 5 (MacBook Pro) to tidy up the vocal track then went to EziMix to try out some of the vocal presets but was warned by Cubase that the VariAudio processing could be compromised by proceeding with the EziMix process.
What should I do? I don’t want to lose the clean up work I did. Should I run the EziMix process first?

You can set it up (from my understanding) like a send/return so its not actually on the track but independent.
This way you might send more than one track into the Ezy mic plug as you would a reverb or delay.
Thank you Juicy. I am relatively new to this game but that sounds like a logical approach. Thanks again for your guidance.

Using EziMix as Insert resolved the clash with VariAudio. Don’t seem to get the same preview options but I’ll keep experimenting. Thanks again for the tip got me moving again. Much appreciated.

Good.
All Proper FX PLug can tell if inserted on a instrument, audio track or an auxillary return channel and will only load to suit each task,as example the blend should automatically set to 100% wet for aux return duties.
Im not sure what Vari Audio is but assume its similar to Logics Flex Audio.
So another good method is to bounce the Vari Audio part(s) this can perhaps save some serious cpu ,you still have the original files but now use the new audio file with EZyMix inserted.
