The search function of the EZ Mix plug does not work in Vienna Pro Ensemble. (AU version of your plug)
It is not possible to enter anything in the input field (same problem you guys have always had with your authorization input fields in ProTools)
Should I alert them or you?

Hi,

this is a bug in the host. All key strokes goes directly to the host, instead of the input field in EZmix. Many of Apple’s Audio Units, for example AUMatrixReverb, has text input fields as well and the issue can be reproduced with these plugins. We’ve reported the issue to the developers of Vienna Pro.
