Ok .. so I have a TDW-20 Kit (only cost me $3K ..lol).

Anyway … I just picked up SD2. I have a USB midi cable thing, do I need anything else ? DO I need something like the PreSonus firebox ??

I am planning on using this with my macbook pro.

Hi,

you preferably need an ASIO Audio interface for good performance and sound.
I have personally used an MBox2 with my Hart Pro/TD-12 kit with OK performance with Toontrack solo as host.

thanks for the response.

Would the Apogee Duet do the job ? Is it even what you are talking about ?
