problem with tempo after importing to pro tools

Hi

Using Toontrack Drumtracker I would convert a snare drum audio track into a midi track, in order to use it with EZ Drummer.

During the conversion process, a “tempo target” is asked, I guess it means my song tempo, but it doesn’t match, as the result tempo after the conversion is definitely higher!

Could someone help me, please?

Hi,

do you Import the Tempo info from the MIDI file in Pro Tools?
Is your PT MIDI Track sample-based or Tick-based?
Have you used a Tempo Map, exported from your Pro Tools Session?

Hi,

I don’t know, I just imported the midi file in pro tools, for tempo info I don’t know.

I don’t used tempo map exported from pro tools but I will try

my PT midi track is tick based i think, i will check that
