    Hi George.

I’ll take a look into this soon. I’m in the middle of mixing some songs and there’s a deadline. I’ve been in my studio non-stop over the past few days. Just wanted to let you know I’m not ignoring your post and that I’ll get on it ASAP.

    Ok.

I think I may have an idea for you but I’ve yet to check to see if this works or not.

A MIDI file exported from Cubase will have the tempo map included if you use the ‘Merge MIDI in Loop function’ on a MIDI track in your project.

So, create a single MIDI track in your Cubase project and create a single measure and apply a hit every quarter note (you can use a LM-7 with a Claves sound or whatever), Then copy that measure ([Alt]/[Option] + [Shift] and drag) to the end of your song. This should provide a click that follows your tempo map in your project.

Set the left/right locators to encompass the whole project and select ‘Merge MIDI in Loop’ from the MIDI menu. This will merge the tempo track onto a new track that will combine the MIDI and tempo info.

You can then export this MIDI track as you normally would and import it into Drumtracker under the ‘Convert’ dialog menu.
