I have my own very small home recording studio and I’ve been triggering an old cheap drum set when the drummer in my band is here recording. It’s pretty simple to use the hits working with Drumtracker from Toontrack, but when it comes to hi-hats with all different hits, and variations of closed, half open and open it’s not that fun anymore and it takes me hours to go through all those in a song.
So, I’m looking for something (not too expensive of course), that might help me with this. Some good hi-hat trigger or whatever to make things easier.
I was watching a video on Toontrack for Superior drummer and the hi-hat he is using here seems to be great. What is that and how is it working? Probably the most expensive solution?
