I’m still loving Drumtracker. I thank Toontrack everyday for making it.
Right now with 1.0.2, my only wish is that you implement a rendering on/off button.
I find that after I plat through a track and get all the initial hits down, that DT still removes some hits while playing back although nowhere near as many as v1.
I would love to be able to scrub through the track to manually add hits without being concerned that the playback will also remove some successful initial ones. If I could temporarily deactivate rendering on playback I would be happy.
If there is a way to do this now that I am missing I would love to know, as I keep looking over the manual to see if Im missing something.
Thanks!

unfortunately there is no possibility to overwrite the auto rendering on playback. Your suggestion is worth the consideration for sure though. Our current focus is to identify the further causes of failure to render as appropriate however. I’ll push the suggestion through the mill however.

Arrrgghh!!
So I just spent an hour finishing a kick drum track that I have have been working on where I had to manually move the threshold around a lot on to pickup a bunch of soft hits…
Finish up, save my project, convert it to MIDI, throw it in Cubase…
Several (mostly all!) of the hits I had to move the threshold around for are missing. I go back into the DT project and lo and behold, the threshold is set at one consistent level for the entire song. How the heck did that happen? And of course, playback re-renders notes, so now I’ve got to go back and do this all over again.
I saw in Kevorkian’s other thread that these rendering issues (and possibly this threshold issue that I am having) is thought to be a system issue, so…

Wow, okay:
Known bugs in 1.0.2
– minimalistic threshold edits are not saved with project
Well, what is considered minimalistic? If you have to move it around at all to get it to trigger the note, then it shoud stay where you left it!
I guess you should just manually add all notes for anything not picked up by the first threshold setting as a workaround?
I’m also guessing since DT hasn’t been updated in quite awhile that DT isn’t in the Toontrack pipeline at the moment…?
