I recently bought a new MacBook Pro. It came with iLife ’08, which includes GarageBand.
I have been using Pro Tools for several years now, so I’m pretty familiar with how most DAW’s work and I can navigate myself around them pretty easily.
My problem is that, after installing EZDrummer, patching to 1.1.1, and installing several drumkits, I can’t get it to show up in GarageBand as a virtual instrument.
I’m looking where it should be, but EZDrummer just isn’t listed there.
Someone please offer some help. I’ve tried searching for an answer, but haven’t found anything that solves my problem.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

edit – I just noticed that the General Questions section appears to be for “pre-sales” questions. Sorry. Mods, please move to wherever is the correct spot.
why not patching all the way for 1.1.6 as a first step?
as to where you are looking for AU instruments in GarageBand, is this what you are doing:
1) New Software Instrument Track
2) Show Track Info
3) at the bottom of the Track Info window expand ‘Details’
4) Browse ‘Instrument Generators’
