Hi all,
So I have a Hart hihat (slice of pizza looking 1/4 circle) trigger pad.

My module is a td-3.
I currently get one sound out of it, I was hoping to get the edge sound and thought of adding a second piezo.
The jack was loose so I thought I would dive in to fix that and check things out.
I open it up, and no surprises, there was the piezo and the TRS jack with a circuit board.

However, when I lifted out the board, to resolder the jack…

There was a second piezo not attached to anything!

My first thought, when looking at this was, they must have it pushing up against the solder spots on the board to the solder spots on the second piezo.
However, upon closer inspection… they won’t line up, this second piezo is not attached to anything.
So can someone please advise me how to connect this to get a 2nd zone?
I have confirmed the wiring on the 1st piezo.
TRS jack connection –
hot (center conductor from 1st piezo) to Tip;
(outside circle on piezo) to Ring and Sleeve.
How should I wire the second piezo in?
Will these two piezos be too close to each other?
Again, this is for a TD-3.
Thanks in advance, for any help.
