no, I’m afraid GarageBand has no support for multi channel instruments.

    Best regards,

On the Mac each new instance of EZDrummer chews up more memory. Is there away around this?

the only way around it is to plan on upgrading to logic express after you outgrow g-band. g-band is amazingly powerful for a program that’s included for free with the computer- but things like no multi-out, limited latency compensation….. hmmm…. there’s really not that many limitations! but logic express is such a massive step up in features, plugins, midi and audio editing control, it’s well worth the upgrade. since v8, it’s also very easy to use, as well.

some nice things are full controls over the compressor/eq’s, a huge collection of instruments (g-bands instruments are all derived from logic), and a really sweet perk is the ability to load any of your g-band sessions in! they import with all plugs and settings intact, very nice.

i know spending more $$ isn’t the best answer to your question, but nice as b-band is, you can’t do multi-out. you can’t use the ez player pro to audition midi tracks either- thank goodness for ez drummers groove browser!
