Many of the variations in this MIDI pack feature a groove texture intentionally mapped to notes playing back tom rim hits. In the event that such articulations are missing in the EZX/SDX you’re auditioning the MIDI with, regular toms or the instrument mapped to the notes in question will play back. The intent of these “rim” hits is for them to be used as is or as for you to experiment with by using several instances of EZdrummer/Superior Drummer and triggering other instruments, drums or percussion.
