I realized that I can set the correct tempo and key of an existing groove by doing the following:

    1. In the Grooves tab, next to “Tempo” in the upper left, make sure the “Original” button is not pressed.
    2. In the empty Song Track set the tempo and key.
    3. Drag the groove that you want to change to the Song Track.
    4. Drag it back into the folder where you want it stored. It will be named “EZbass Track 1”.
    5. Play the groove in the browser to confirm it is right.
    6. Delete the old version showing the wrong tempo.
    7. Rename the new groove.

    Thanks for the response, John.

Does Toontrack have a feature request process?

Bummer! Your comment got my hopes up.

I guess we’ll each have to roll our own via audio and midi imports. That possibility itself is pretty exciting.

    EZbass is awesome.

Where did you hear that an EZbass Reggae midi pack is being prepared?

    Hello marco,

Thanks a lot for your response. Regarding the Reggae EZkeys MIDI pack — it does seem like one of the musical styles least likely to need a MIDI pack assist, so I too have passed, despite being strongly drawn to all things “Reggae EZ…”.

Thanks for sharing the links to your remixes. They sound good! I especially like Serious Dub and Dirty Dub.

    Respect!

Hey marco, if you try out the Reggae EZkeys MIDI could you post here what you think of it?

Also, neither here nor there, I keep wishing there were a Reggae EZbass product line. :
