Please include some big-band swing grooves in Superior Drummer’s core library
I use Superior Drummer in Pro Tools to make rehearsal recordings for arrangements I write. The sounds are excellent, but I haven’t been able to find basic swing grooves in my installed library.
I need traditional ride-cymbal swing, hi-hat, tasteful snare comping, and useful fills at different tempos. I understand you sell jazz MIDI packs, but I believe a basic selection should be included with Superior Drummer and clearly labeled SWING in the Grooves browser.
You DO KNOW that blues is not the same as swing…. Your product is otherwise great and useful for all my pop projects, but I do write a lot of shows and themed events and some of them are in the swing genre…. I would think you must have one drummer on staff that can understand the SWING STYLE….. which again, is NOT the same as blues or jazz styles.
If these already exist in the core library, please tell me exactly where to find them. Otherwise, please pass this request to the product team.
