Punk & Hardcore Amps EZmix Pack

In this expansion for EZmix 3, we dive into a corner of guitar tone history where attitude is an essential part of the vocabulary. Expect anything from the gritty sounds reminiscent of classic 1970s-style punk and the semi-distorted, art rock- and post-punk-inspired tones of the 1980s to the glossier pop-punk of the 1990s and the aggressive hardcore of the 1990s and onwards.

All in all, it includes 30 tones, each individually curated to give you a mix-ready, go-to sound. Predominantly – and unsurprisingly, given the genres – rhythm tones are favored over those for lead, although you’ll find a few of those in there too. On a technical level, all tones were created using advanced neural network technology, delivering ready-to-play captures of complete studio signal chains – from amplifiers and cabinets to microphones, mic placement and room ambience. A carefully curated selection of amps along with multiple cabinet configurations and mics was used throughout the capture process. The result is a collection of remarkably dynamic, responsive and expressive tones that scream authenticity. As always, should you want to fine-tune the details of any of the tones, every preset includes its own dedicated parameter set, giving you granular control over its core sound-shaping elements.

If you’re looking for amps pushed to the max, they’re in this pack. And they’re oozing with attitude – as they should.
