Hello all, Im looking for a very clean ride cymbal sound. So many jazz recordings have this gorgeous clean stick tone, but here in virtual instrument world, seems like someone decided that jazz ride cymbals should all sound like trash can lids: Lots of trashy wash, the attack barely pings, it gets buried in the lower frequencies’ wash. Hopefully someone knows of a drum tone/sample/plugin/eq approach that i could implement ...
