Apologies if this has been flagged or discussed previously. I own 4 EBX add on basses. One feature that I like is the fact that in general, it is possible to swap out basses in a project. e.g. swap the modern standard bass for the gospel or even fretless bass. The velocities layers are pretty consistent throughout the basses (although sample articulation types may vary slightly between basses). However, having just bought the Fusion bass, I am noticing differences in the velocity layers between it and the other EZ bass add Ons I had already bought. The Fusion bass seems a lot quieter and there are some strange results from swapping out tunes I made with the standard modern slap bass articulations and hammer ons etc for the Fusion bass. I would have hoped that the velocities and articulations would have at least matched. I have experimented with the stand alone program and in my Cakewalk Sonar DAW… same results. I have made some tunes using the modern bass with the mute CC emulation. In experimenting I deleted all of the mute ccs from the tune to see if it was that which was causing the problem but no change. All my EZ software is showing up to date in the product manager, and my DAW is up to date. Any ideas please?
