Hi,

I created many projects with SD2 and Cubase and after upgrading my computer and installing Windows 11 I can no longer install SD2 and consequently all these projects are toast.

Questions:
1. Are the Funk Masters, Song Writers Drum Pack and Avatar core libraries compatible with SD3?
2. If I invest my hard earned dollars to purchase SD3, how many years can I expect to use the product before it is discontinued and un-supported?

Hi,

sorry no one has replied yet.
I am wondering why you write you can no longer install SD2? I think you can try installing SD2 via the Product Manager. For example, SD2 is listed as compatible with Mac OS 10.6 to 10.13 only and yet I can run it on an M1 MBP with Mac OS 13.6.
1. Yes
2. Impossible to give a straight answer to but Superior Drummer 2 was maintained for 10 years and you can still use it if your system does not prohibit it, e.g. you can’t run the VST2 in Native Silicon mode in Cubase on Mac

I have been able to re-install SD2 via the Product Manager. Everything works well. Thanks.
