I love Toontracks stuff, but I’ve never had so much trouble trying to do a clean delete of software. Granted, I’m no expert here, but everything I’ve searched about doing this is confusing as hell.
Life, seems to me, would be a heck of a lot easier if we could load these files directly to an external drive. When most modern Macs come with 512-1TB main drives, it would seem a lot less painful. It appears most issues happen when people try to move libraries to external drives. Me included!!
There needs to be a “God location” on Toontracks website explaining this as it seems to be a major issue from reading forums (of which I really don’t have the time to do). How about a nice youtube video for morons like me who want to chuck their computer out a window instead of enjoying the process of making music?
