I swear i had this worked out at one point but the mapping isn’t working, and my process for resolving it doesn’t seem to work either. I must be missing something. Thoughts?
- Roland TD-27 with two extra triggers (rack tom 3 and another cymbal)
- Record into DAW (Cakewalk)
- Export MIDI track from DAW
- Drag MIDI track into SD3 (progressive foundry)
- note 43 is mapping to floor tom 1 but i want rack tom 3 so i change the map (settings>MIDI In/E-drums) and it tracks. yay
- not 55 is mapping to splash but i want floor tom 1 so i change that map also. it says that it is changed yet it still makes the splash sound
- I have this problem with several other cymbals as well
What am i missing? Thanks!
