I loaded a full band track into Izotope RX 8, and used Music Rebalance function to isolate the drums. I exported the file to wav, and while it’s not perfect it’s a pretty clear stereo drum track, all the components are easy to hear.
I then loaded that track into SD3 and tracker, then duplicated the track for each drum part component, and set the corresponding sound recognition for each part. Apart from the kick drum, Tracker does not seem to be recognizing the sounds very well at all. For example, here is a photo of the snare track (this is a rock track with constant loud snare hits). It’s not picking up most of the snare hits at all. This is also true for the hi hat and other cymbals. Adjusting the velocity and threshold on the bottom panel doesn’t seem to help at all. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
