One feature that Superior Drummer 3 had that ezDrummer 2 did not (at least not to my knowledge) was the ability to program custom MIDI maps, so that if I wanted to play drum libraries from a MIDI keyboard, I could assign certain sounds or certain articulations to any key I choose and save the MIDI maps on my computer. This is something I can do on BFD3, MODO Drum 2, XLN Addictive Drums 2, even many Kontakt 6 drum libraries I own like the Abbey Road drums or Drumdrops Kontakt libraries, but as far as Toontrack is concerned it was only available on SDX3.
Well this feature be available on ezDrummer 3? I own ezDrummer 2 and was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade to EZD3 without needing to upgrade to SDX3 just to use this helpful feature in a Toontrack environment.
