I’ve been using EZDrummer and Superior Drummer for a few years now (although this is a new account), and I’ve found that Adam “Nolly” Getgood’s presets for Metal Machine as well as his other work using Toontrack software are the best results I’ve heard from the software.
With Periphery’s new Juggernaut albums just out I think it’s becoming clear that Nolly is one of the best producers around, with a meticulous attention to detail. This is very much my opinion but Juggernaut is the finest drum sound I’ve had the pleasure of listening to, and their live shows, for which he techs drums, also showcase his expansive skill with clear and crisp sounding drums at venues all around the world.
I’d very much like to see an EZX made with Nolly at the helm and Matt Halpern at the skins, to bring Nolly’s incredible work to the affordable range. I’ve started this thread in a hope to get perhaps an expression of interest from other Toontrack users, and some attention to the idea.
