I’m a new user/purchaser of EZ Drummer and want to expand with some EZX midi packs. On the product page, there are sample soundcloud midi grooves for the different packs (approx 4 or 5 per pack) and in the title of each groove there seems to be a source pack from where the groove was taken. For example, when I click on the Songwriters Drumpack vol. 1, the following midi grooves with a “source” midi pack is listed. (see below):
Songwriters Drumpack – EZdrummer 2 Vintage
Songwriters Drumpack – New York Studios Vol. 2 SDX
Songwriters Drumpack – Funkmasters
Songwriters Drumpack – Nashville EZX
Songwriters Drumpack – Vintage Rock EZX
Thus, I’m assuming that the midi grooves in the songwriters packs are also included in other packs. I was interested in buying the Songwriters Bundle, as well as other midi packs (eg. Americana, Rock, Blues) but don’t want to end up with many packs that contain many duplications. Is there any spec sheet/pdf that has listed all the grooves in the Songwriters packs (all of them Vol 1 through 4) along with their source midi packs? That way, if I see, for example, that Songwriter 3 and 4 contain many grooves from the Blues midi pack, I would then not need to purchase Blues and end up with dozens and dozens of duplicates. Can you assist please? Thanks.
All those grooves listed above are from the ‘Songwriters Drumpack’. The added ‘EZdrummer 2 Vintage’, ‘New York Studios Vol. 2 SDX’, etc are explanations which library expansion has been used to play back the groove in question. So, all listed grooves on one MIDI pack page are included in that MIDI pack, you won’t see/hear grooves from other packs on that page in the Soundcloud list.
