Hi (first post) – how long can license transfer take ?

Hi everyone at Toontrack and fellow forumites. First post !

I was wondering how long it can take for a license transfer ? I’ve bought a used copy from someone (who had permission via email and mailed TT yesterday with my details) 24 hours ago.

I’m so excited I’ve gone out and bought a full set of the midi expansions (as well as the ezmix 2 +6 pack) so I’m just waiting on that transfer to happen so I can get started and registered

edit : As an aside – I’ve been playing for 30 years but never done any recording before. Started this last month and only the last few days got onto the ‘EZ’ series. I can only echo what I’ve read from other folks – a hope that Toontrack expands the ‘EZ’ system into more instrument types and even choral packages. Or even an ‘EZ’ Melodyne/Auto tune. That would be great.

well the speed of the process greatly depends on your seller, if he contacted Toontrack right after the sale then I suspect it will happen in the next 24 hours, but again that depends how proactive he is as we can’t obviously transfer a license without the express confirmation from the seller (even if they warned up before hand they were intending to transfer it).

He copied me in when he mailed you. It was 19 hours ago.
