Cannot install EzDrummer

When I try to install EZDrummer all files are transferred and then Error 1308, source file not found crops up. The file is EinstallPCWindowswinsxsulcrtx861x86_……. and so on.
I have looked on the install dvd and it is there.
What is the problem? I cannot register the program because its not installed so this is the only place I could see to ask

Please download and install from the full product installer available from your Toontrack account.

You can register EZdrummer without authorizing it. Registering EZD involves the serial number which should be on the DVD sleeve (or your retail receipt).

I received this same problem today: installer fails with a ‘source file not found’ error. It has been 3 years and you still have not fixed the problem ? How very lame !!!! How do I find an online installer that works?

There are no problems with the installers but you need to pay attention to the available instructions, included and online. Running an updater without having the full product installed first will always fail. Browsing the ZIP archive without actually extracting it (Right-click and ‘Extract all…’) will also fail.
