Midi Drum Endings

Hi,

Working with midi drums are great but the one thing I find is the lack of ‘endings’. Specifically I am looking for that old southern rock type ‘trash can’ ending for a fun song I’m doing…any suggestions as to where to find that? Is there anything Toontrack has or else where?

Did you have any luck? I’m having the same problem. I’ve got at least 3 songs that need ‘that’ ending and I’m stuck.
I can’t even find any decent cymbal swells and crashes, if I could get them sounding good then I could make do with that.

Yes and no.

No I didn’t find any endings that fit that didn’t take some manipulating. One of the issues for me was the ending that I wanted slowed down in time – like many endings. So what I did was found a few fills that sounded like something of an ending and then just moved the midi notes. I listened to a few trash can endings online and of course a drummer typically will do a lot of snare hits then go to the toms/cymbals and of course back to a single hit snare/kick/cymbal hit at the end so that’s what I looked for. You can do that! It’s not that challenging.

This hasn’t been mixed but I attached what I did if you wanna hear it.
