Thank you Scott. I removed all traces of EZDrummer from my computer, ensuring all dll files were deleted, and proceeded with clean installs, and the 64bit patch too. It’s working! Thanks again! 🙂

If you’re using 64-bit Reaper, you need to use 64-bit EZD. If not, you’ll use Reaper’s bit-bridge which isn’t supported and can cause problems. Â
Interesting. I’ve always used 32 bit EZDrummer from what I can see and it’s always been fine with the base kit.
I’ll try re-installing everything in 64 bit and see what happens tonight, and report back. Thanks!

If you’re running the 64-bit version of Reaper, you should be using the 64-bit version of EZD. You also need to use the latest version of EZD1 which is 1.4.0.If you’ve installed the 64-bit version, do you know where you installed it to? If so, you can set the path in Reaper to that location. If not, you can do a Windows search for the EZdrummer.dll and see if it’s located in a 64-bit location (not in an x86 location). Â
EZDrummer is working in Reaper, I’ve got the dll file all sorted and it plays fine. It’s only the DFH kit that won’t work in the interface. It cannot find the sound files.
I’ll try reinstalling 64bit versions, but I’m pretty sure I’ve already tried that, to no avail.

What version number shows on the EZD interface? Is it the same version that is shown in Solo? 32-bit or 64-bit? What version of Reaper? What OS version? Â
Version 1.3.2 for both in Reaper and in Solo. Is’s EZDrummer (x86) that shows up in Reaper, installed in the Program Files (x86) so I believe 32 bit. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried both 64 and 32 bit installs.
I’m running Windows 10, and Reaper is v5.29, 64 bit revision.
Thanks! 🙂
